This week, the is looking to find a home for Tortellini, a 5-year-old Tortie cat.
According to Donald Bambrick, the animal shelter supervisor, Tortellini was found with her sister, Pastelle, evidently abandoned.
"She has an old injury to her eye, but that doesn't dampen her spirit or her sweetness," said Bambrick.
All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered, according to Bambrick.
Adoption fees typically range from $40 to $60 for a cat and from $60 to $125 for a dog.
To adopt Tortellini, or any of the other animals available for adoption, call the shelter at 631-728-7387 or visit them at 102 Old Riverhead Road in Hampton Bays.
