Southampton Animal Shelter Pet of the Week: Tigger

Southampton has some loving pets available for adoption.

This week, the is looking to find a home for Tigger, a 2-year-old Labrador mix who’s been at the shelter since April 2011.

According to Donald Bambrick, the animal shelter supervisor, Tigger is a very athletic dog who is social with other dogs and cats too.

"A home with older kids would be best suited for Tigger," Bambrick said.

All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered, according to Bambrick.

Adoption fees typically range from $40 to $60 for a cat and from $60 to $125 for a dog.

To adopt Tigger or any of the other animals available for adoption, call the shelter at 631-728-7387 or visit them at 102 Old Riverhead Road in Hampton Bays.

Wow, what a good looking puppy dog! And what wonderful people we have serving at the Southampton Animal Shelter. Thank you, one and all. I hope that you keep up the good work that you are doing and that you find the support you need from a grateful and appreciative public.
