Southampton Animal Shelter Pet of the Week: Lamb Chop

Southampton has some loving pets available for adoption.

This week, the is looking to find a home for Lamb Chop, a 1-and-a-half-year-old pit bull mix who arrived at the shelter in January.

According to Donald Bambrick, the animal shelter supervisor, Lamb Chop was severely emaciated and near death when she was found.

"After being nursed back to health she’s ready to go to a new home," Bambrick said.

Lamb Chop, said Bambrick, is social with other dogs but needs a home without cats.

All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered, according to Bambrick.
