Sneak Peek: Renovations Inside the Westhampton Performing Arts Center

A $250,000 renovation project is nearly complete.

A renovation project in celebration of the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center's 15th anniversary is moving forward and expected to be complete in early February — just in time for its first scheduled performance of 2013.

According to Jodi Giambrone, the theatre's public relations manager, a new carpet has already been installed in the theatre's main lobby and other projects, including a refinishing of the stage floor and installation of a new lighting system is underway. The theatre is also getting a new coat of paint.

The theatre is expected to re-open on Feb. 16 for the kick-off to the theatre's annual Break-Out artist series. Milo Greene will perform at 8 p.m.
