Slideshow: Quogue Historical Society Holds Open House
Residents get a sneak-preview of historical society's new home.
On Saturday, the Quogue Historical Society held an open house and flag raising at their soon-to-be new, two-story home on Jessup Avenue in Quogue.
The historical society has been working on moving out of its current headquarters at the Quogue Library to the new location since 2006.
While many of the rooms at the new Jessup Avenue location are still empty, Quogue Historical Society board members say they will be moving in their countless artifacts for an anticipated official opening in July.

The new facility will feature a large screen television, which will play loops of historical video that the society has in its archives, as well as research computer stations.
