SHARE: Halloween Decorations Coming Down Ahead of Frankenstorm?

Winds from Hurricane Sandy threaten to scatter your spooky setups.

As locals across the region prepare for Hurricane Sandy by stocking up on supplies, many could be taking down their Halloween decorations for safety reasons as the high winds threaten to blow them away before the holiday.

But before you dismantle your hard work, at Patch we thought it could lighten the mood if locals took photos of their houses all decked-out for Halloween and shared them in this gallery.

We're sure the community would love see them.

Okay enough with the "frankenstorm" ... Just bring everything in, including garbage cans, chairs, tables & keep an eye on pets. Right now, the focus on Halloween isn't that important, but a community working together is.

Each year Cooper Lane goes all out, hundreds of kids enjoy this street. It is closed off and made safe for all. I know all who live on the Lane love decorating and enjoy the children. I'm wondering when Halloween will be celebrated there. Most of all I am praying all are safe and receive little to no damage all over.
