Save the Date: Mental Health Awareness Day

The Town of Southampton has set April 6 for its 10th annual Mental Health Awareness Day.

This year's event, which will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to the town's website, will focus on mental health at every age with speakers talking about how to best maintain mental health during every stage of life.

The free event will feature a panel discussion and guest speaker, Michael Stoltz, executive director of The Clubhouse of Suffolk, who will share his years of experience as a mental health professional and discuss today’s challenges.

Lunch will be provided at the event, which is open to anyone concerned with mental health issues including family members, individuals living with a mental illness, community members and professionals.
