Saturday, January 7 brought record high temperatures to the area with many area residents taking the opportunity to stroll area beaches, including the Quogue Beach where these photos were snapped.
The photos were shot by Eileen Duffy of Quogue, at 4:38 p.m. as the sunset over the ocean with a full moon shining in the east.
The photos depict a very different winter from last year at this time when residents were starting to gear up for a second snow storm.
