Question of the Day [Poll] : Do You Use The United States Post Office?

Let you fellow Patch readers know.

The United States Postal Service announced on Tuesday that it will be reviewing roughly 3,600 post offices nationwide to determine which ones could be closed, in an effort to save cash.

The USPS, which lost $8 billion last year, operates over 31,000 post offices across the country, down from about 38,000 ten years ago.

Cost saving measures mentioned have been cutting Saturday service, cutting staff, relocating post offices to private or municipally-owned buildings, reducing pension payments, and - if you haven't noticed - raising the price of stamps.

Though the post offices to be reviewed are mainly expected to be in rural areas, we have a few questions about how you use the USPS.

Patch Wants to Know: Would you care if post office service stopped running on Saturdays? Do you pay bills online, or do you buy stamps and send through the mail? If you still mail, how high would stamp prices have to rise until you switch to online billing?
