Psychic Deli Manager Makes 2012 Predictions

Mary Acamora says 2012 will bring advances in the medical field.

For those looking to find out what's in store in 2012, they need to look no further than in Westhampton Beach. Mary Acamora, the deli's manager, serves up more than just egg sandwiches and lunch specials — she says she can dish out the future.

Since she was a child, Acamora, who grew up in Hauppauge, said she has had a "divine gift" of being able to know things, to heal people and to speak with the dead.

"It wasn't accepted by my parents," Acamora said. "They were old school Italians and it was the '70s."

It wasn't until she left her parents' embraces that she started to tap into her gift and, about 12 years ago, she said she started to really develop it while at the same time running a deli in Garden City.

Acamora, who now lives in Manorville, tells a story of a doctor who used to come into the deli who became paralyzed. Acamora said she began working with her, using her hands as a heat sensor. Now, she said the doctor is "perfectly fine."

"It pushed me to start," Acamora said.

Now, by day, Acamora works at the Sunset Deli and at night she does readings, hosts psychic parties, talks to spirits and conducts angel healings.

She also predicts the future; she says she foresaw the 9/11 terrorist attacks and urged her sister not to go to work that day.

Looking into 2012, Acamora said it will be a year of energy — a year when things will start pushing in the right direction.

"We will find a lot of people acting out of character — out of their [astrology] signs, but in a good way," she said. "They will take responsibility for what they feel inside."

People are tired of the economy, Acamora said, but they will start putting their best foot forward.

Up until now, she said, people have accepted the economy, but now they will start "earning what is rightfully theirs."

"People will start to feel more comfortable and breath better," Acamora said.
"The whole world will be a little better in 2012."

Acamora also said there will be a big change in the word of medicine —  homeopathic remedies will be accepted by mainstream doctors. It is a prediction that has been echoed by Lelonnie Campbell, an astrologist from Westhampton Beach.
