The organizers of RSVP, a non-profit animal rescue organization, say they held a successful fundraiser in Westhampton Beach on Saturday with prizes given to owners and their dogs in contests including, looks most like owner and best costume.
Herbie, a rescue dog, took first place with his owner Dad Gordon, of Farmingale, in the "Looks Most Like Owner" contest and Pappi and Stella, who are owned by Barbara Juliano of Medford, won the best costume award.
Also during the event, there was a parade down Main Street with adoptable animals from local shelters on show.
