PHOTOS: Vincent J. Cannuscio Trail Dedication

Family and friends spoke fondly of the three-term supervisor.

On Friday morning, over 100 people gathered to dedicate a new trail in Hampton Bays to former Supervisor Vincent J. Cannuscio, who passed away in December 2008.

Friends and family spoke fondly of Cannuscio, who served as supervisor for three terms, starting in 1995.

Vincent's son, Aubrey Cannuscio, said the trail is fitting for his father, who loved Hampton Bays.

The trail was made possible with funding from the and the Town of Southampton.
