Photos: East Quogue Garden Tour

The East Quogue Beautification association held their annual garden tour on Saturday.

The held its annual Garden Tour on Saturday with gardens of hosts, including Virginia and Art Connolly, Maria Daddino, Mike and Karen Fedun, Dawn and Vincent Gaudiello and Susan Zaccharia.

As an extra treat for all who visited Maria Daddino’s wildlife garden, Kerri Dobbs and Rob Carmichael from the Evelyn Alexander  who brought with them “wild-friends” from the Rescue Center, including Blossom the Virginia opossum; Kilala, the great horned owl; Sonya, the red-tailed hawk; Martino, the red-faced Eastern screech owl; and Denali, the cardinal, who happily perched on everyone’s fingers.

Also on hand was Suzanne Ruggles, better known as the Barefoot Gardener, who gave interesting and informative presentations on creating native and natural wildlife habitats.
