Bideawee hosted its fourth Annual Love Your Pet Art Contest and Expo on Saturday in Westhampton with nearly 300 entries from students in grades K-8. Creativity, color and compassion for pets added to the theme of the day. Nearly 70 families attended the exhibit and raised over $700 to help animals awaiting forever homes at Bideawee.
The event culminated with the announcment of this year's art contest winners:
K-1: Thomas Palumbo, 1st grade, Wading River Elementary School
2-3: Gage Jampol, 3rd grade, Edna Louise Spear Elementary School
4-5: Jamie Biskup, 5th grade, Dayton Ave Elementary School
6-8: Hope Steuerwald, 6th grade, Dayton Ave Elementary School
