Patch reader Jen Cherney, submitted the above photo saying that she wanted to publicly thank Mr. Koziarz and the members of the for their efforts in organizing the 22nd Annual , which took place on Saturday in Westhampton Beach.
Cherney said she participated in this year's race after watching her husband, Brad, cross the finish line on his 40th birthday last year.
"I thought, how wonderful would it be if I could too," she said.
The photo, she said was taken with her husband and her niece, Ellie Marron right after this year's race.
"We had a wonderful time and I look forward to running (with a better time) in 2013," she said.
