Laura Brown took first place in the Women's Division of the Merrell of Huntington Caumsett State Park 25 Kilometer Run.
Laura Brown, 44, of Westhampton Beach was the overall winner of the Women's Division of the Merrell of Huntington Caumsett State Park 25 Kilometer Run, which was held on March 4.
According to the run's organizers, the Greater Long Island Running Club, Brown navigated the five loop five kilometer course in 1 hour, 50 minutes 33 seconds, leaving her with a 2 minute, 15 second win over runner-up Lindsey Block of Huntington.
Some 233 athletes completed the run.
