Photo: Library Directors Thank LaValle For Additional State Aid
Library directors, including Danielle Zubiller of the Westhampton Library, met with LaValle at the Riverhead Library.
To show their appreciation, area library directors, met at the Riverhead Public Library to personally thank Senator Kenneth LaValle for securing additional state aid recently.
In June, Senator LaValle was able to secure additional monies separate and apart from the state aid formula for schools and libraries that can be used to stabilize tax rates and provide additional relief for taxpayers.
Locally, , and Libraries each garnered an additional $2,200 in state aid.

Danielle Zubiller, director of the Westhampton Library said, "On behalf of the board of the Westhampton Free Library and its community, we thank Senator Lavalle for his commitment to libraries and for securing this additional funding."
