Residents paraded from Ponquogue Beach to the St. Rosalie Church in honor of Lady Guadalupe.

Parishioners of the Church of St. Rosalie held their first annual parade to mark Our Lady of Guadalupe Day, December 12.

In honor of Lady Guadalupe, the parishioners marched from the Ponquogue Bridge in Hampton Bays to the Church of St. Rosalie, wearing matching maroon jumpsuits and carrying a statue of the Virgin Mary and American and Mexican flags.

The church says this is the first time they have marked Guadalupe Day with a parade and they plan to make it an annual event.
