Nov. 7: Drop In and Just Chill, Play a Game of Bridge and Enjoy the Beginning of Restaurant Week

There's plenty to do in town today.

Long Island Restaurant Week begins today.  There are three great Hampton Bays restaurants that are participating.  Enjoy great food and a prix fixe price. You can also take in a ballet at the Parrish Art Museum or drop in with the kids at the youth centers Drop Spot and just relax for the day.  Read on and visit our calendar of events for more on what to do around town.

Sunday's Five:

1.     , Hampton Bays meets at 7:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month, at the Knights of Columbus Hall (Old St. Rosalie's Church) at 31 E. Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.  For more information, e-mail info@aohdivision11.org.

2.     Try your hand.  Join your friends at the Hampton Bays Library for a game of Bridge.  The games begin at 1:00 p.m.  For more information on library events, call (631) 728-6241.

3.     Take in a ballet at the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton.  The Parrish Art Museum presents Ballet in Cinema: Les Flammes de Paris, Opera, Ballet, and Shakespeare in Cinema at 2:00 p.m.  This ballet dance troupe is from the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, Russia.  The production was produced in Leningrad in the 1930s and was presented on the eve of the October Revolution.  Tickets are $12 for members and $15 for non-members.  For more information and to purchase tickets, call (631) 283-2118, or visit the Parrish At Museum on-line at www.parrishart.org.

4.     begins today.  Enjoy food from some of the most expensive menus at some of the most exclusive restaurants for only $24.95.  Many participating restaurants in Hampton Bays are participating in Restaurant Week, including 1 North Steakhouse, Brewsters Seafood Market and Oakland's Restaurant and Marina. 5.     Drop in and relax at the Drop Spot for kids at 655 Flanders Road in Flanders.  This program is run by Southampton Youth Services.  Kids can drop in and relax, surf the net, socialize with friends and play games in a safe and comfortable environment. The program is Sundays from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.  For more information, call (631) 702-2392.
