Nov. 3: Crochet, Country Line Dancing and Mah Jongg

There's plenty to do in Hampton Bays today.

Get ready for winter's chill with crocheting classes at the Hampton Bays Library.  Learn how to make warm sweaters and mittens and whatever else strikes your fancy.  You can also learn country line dancing at the Hampton Bays Senior Center.  Many of the country line dancers there are real pros.  Whatever you decide to do today, have fun.

Wednesday's Five:

1.     The Town of Southampton Senior services hosts a Mah Jongg Club on the first and third Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to Noon and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  No fee is required.  For more information, call (631) 728-1235.

2.     Town of Southampton Senior services holds country line dancing classes every Wednesday at the Hampton Bays Senior Center at 1:00 p.m.  This program is free.  For more information, call (631) 728-1235. 

3.     Get up to morning yoga at the Hampton Bays Library at 10:30 a.m. There is a $7.00 fee for this program to be paid at the time of the class.  Remember to bring a mat and wear comfortable clothes. And have fun. This class will be taught by Peter Ames.  For more information, call (631) 728-6241.

4.     The Hampton Bays Library will host an Informal English Conversation Group for those who want to brush up on or learn English.  This group meets from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.  Come and join your friends in this comfortable atmosphere.  For more information, call (631) 728-6241.

5.     Join the Hampton Bays Library for a lesson in Crocheting.  Jeanette is at the library twice a month to teach you the basics of crocheting and to give you any help you may need.  This group meets from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.  Call (631) 728-6241, or stop by the circulation desk to register.
