Nov. 17: Country Line Dancing, Legos and Twinkle Toes

There's always plenty to do around town.

Here are a few things you might want to do in Hampton Bays today.  For more, visit our calendar of events

Wednesday's Five:

1.     Join the group that provides information, educational skills, and support to families who are caregivers of the elderly in our township. Group meets at the Hampton Bays Senior Center 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of every month through December.  The program is from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Call the Hampton Bays Senior Center at (631) 728-1235 for more information.

2.    Town of Southampton Parks & Recreation will hold at the Lodge at Squiretown Park in Hampton Bays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  This is an on-going program.  The program runs on Wednesdays until December 15.  The cost is $30 for residents and $40 for non-residents.  For more information and to register, call Town of Southampton Parks & Recreation at (631) 728-8585.

3.     Work on your steps at the Hampton Bays Senior Center.  Town of Southampton Senior services holds every Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Hampton Bays Senior Center.  This program is free.  For more information, call (631) 728-1235.

4.    The Hampton Bays Library will host a on Wednesdays until December 15.  This program is for children ages 5 and up, who can work independently.  The program promotes play and contributes to early literacy development by increasing attention span, memory, creativity, and language and vocabulary skills.  It also lays the foundation for logical mathematical thinking, scientific reasoning, and problem solving.  For more information, call the library at (631) 728-6241.

5.     Take your kids to at the Hampton Bays Library from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  This program is for babies with adult supervision.  A children's librarian leads this fun-filled program of songs, rhymes and stories.
