Nov. 15: Exercise Your Body and Your Mind

There's always plenty to do in Hampton Bays.

You can get in shape today with several exercise classes.  You can also learn computer and introduce your baby to educational play and fun at the library.

Monday's Five:

1.     Try some .  Town of Southampton Parks & Recreation will hold introduction to yoga classes at the Lodge at Red Creek Park in Hampton Bays from 7:45 p.m. until 8:45 p.m.  These are on-going classes.  The cost is $30 for residents and $40 for non-residents.  For more information and to register, call Town of Southampton Parks & Recreation at (631) 728-8585.

2.     Learn computers or just brush up on what you already know. Town of Southampton Senior services holds every Monday and Friday at the Hampton Bays Senior Center from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Contact the Senior Center for more information at (631) 728-8585.

3.     Get introduced to pilates. Town of Southampton Parks & Recreation will hold introduction to at the Lodge at Squiretown in Hampton Bays from 7:00 p.m. until 7:45 p.m.  These are on-going courses.  For more information and to register, call Town of Southampton Parks & Recreation at (631) 728-8585.

4.     There's no exercise like walking.  Town of Southampton Senior Services hosts a every Monday at 10:00 a.m.  The walk will be at the Southampton Town Recreation Center for the colder weather.  For more information or to register, call (631) 728-1235. 

5.     Take the baby to the Hampton Bays Library for a fun-filled program at 10:15 a.m.  This program is geared toward babies (birth-pre-walkers, with adult). A children's librarian leads this fun-filled program of songs, rhymes and stories.  begin today and run for five weeks.
