Name Your Adoption Fee at Bideawee

Bideawee kicks off their 12 Cats of Christmas Challenge this week.

Bideawee is celebrating the holidays by creating the Bideawee 12 Cats of Christmas Challenge. The goal of the challenge is to find homes for cats 12 years and older, as well as long stay cats.

The challenge, according to Amy Hraniotis, event manager for Bideawee, allows those looking to adopt cats to name the adoption fee they would be willing to pay to adopt a cat at Bideawee. In addition, Unleashed by Petco will be giving a coupon booklet with up to $150 worth of discounts to anyone who adopts one of the cats.

"If you're considering adding the love and companionship of an animal into your life this holiday season please consider an older cat," said Hraniotis, "Older cats' personalities are fully formed and it's unlikely that there will be any surprises once the cat joins your family."

Hraniotis also said that older cats are usually fully trained in using the litter box and aren't likely to be destructive. They also require less supervision than young cats or kittens.
