Mark Your Calendar: Hampton Bays Civic Meeting

The meeting will be held on Monday at 7 p.m.

While the Hampton Bays Civic Association has been focusing its efforts on  formulating a plan to sever Hampton Bays from the Town of Southampton by forming a new village, on Monday, it plans to spotlight good news in the community.

During it's monthly meeting, set for 7 p.m at the Hampton Bays Community Center on Ponquogue Avenue, the civic has invited speakers from non-profits, including Locks-of-Love, Maureen’s Haven, and K-Kids.

"This is a perfect evening to discover exactly what these charities contribute to our community, what their needs are so they may continue their work, and how you may personally contribute to their continued success," stated the civic.

Also on Monday night, the civic will present a !,000 scholarship to a Hampton Bays student, who participated in the civic's annual essay contest. This year's essay topic was “Hampton Bays in the year 2023”.
