will present, The Scarlet Letter at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.  The show will be performed by the National Players as part of the performing arts center’s School Day Performances. Tickets are $12. 

2. Hands-On Music

Bring your children, up to five-years-old to the, 90 Quogue Street, Quogue at 1:30 p.m. for some singing and instrument playing. The Hands-On Music program is a free event. For more information, call (631) 653-4224 ext. 4.

3. Memoir Writing Workshop

Have you always wanted to write your life story, but weren’t sure where to start?  Seniors can take a workshop at the , 25 Ponquogue Avenue, Hampton Bays from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Marcia Rosen will be on hand to help you write your story.

Stop back at noon to find out who was arrested this week.

5. Parents and Students Sound-Off: American Sign Language Being Cut from Westhampton

Parents and students urged the Westhampton School Board not to cut the American Sign Language course from the district’s budget.  Come back at 4 p.m. to read the story.
