Local Talent Featured at Ponquogue Beach Summer Concert Series

The series will kick-off on July 1 at 6 p.m.

A concert series, featuring local bands and students is set to kick-off at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays on July 1 at 6 p.m.

According to the Southampton Youth Bureau and Project Vibe, which created the series, concerts will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on July 1, July 22 and August 12.

Slated to perform at the July 1 concert is 'Bad Execution,' a high school band with members from Westhampton Beach to Sag Harbor, who took second place in the 2013 Southampton Town Battle of the Bands. Also taking the stage will be DJ Disco Pauly and Project Vibe, performing their “Orijahnal Reggae Sounds, Live and Direct”.

The series is sponsored by Scotto’s Pork Store, East End Food and Concessions, Cowfish and Rumba restaurants.
