LI Kittens of the Week: Grady, Everett and Trent

LI Kittens has pets who need loving homes.

LI Kitties Inc. of Speonk, is looking to find a homes for Grady, Everett and Trent, who are sweet, five-month old kittens, according to Sharon Ippolito, owner.

Ippolito said she first saw Grady, Everett, Trent and two other littermates on Craigslist, locked in a raccoon cage in the sun in a yard.

"Someone was trying to make money by selling them. They were only seven weeks old," she said.

Ippolito said LI Kitties, with the help of another rescue group, tried to rescue the kittens and had to pay the owner for them.

"They were all in horrible shape, ear mites, upper respiratory infections, ringworm, roundworms, fleas, malnourished and dehydrated," said Ippolito.

"They had a very rough start to life, but now they are healthy and ready for someone to love them," she said.

According to Ipplito, two of the littermates, Lola and Lyon, have already been adopted, but Grady, Everett and Trent still need homes. They have all tested negative for FELV/FIV and have been spayed/neutered
