Kids Grab N' Go Weekend Planner: Pasta Party, Spring Celebration and Hampton Idol Contest

We’re glad you clicked on our new Grab & Go Kids Planner.  Here we've assembled a weekly calendar of kid-friendly activities and new places to try out with your children. 

This week, we have a pasta party, Spring Celebration and Hampton Idol Contest. You and your family can pick and choose the events that most appeal to you and your schedule.

Family Best Bets Of The Week

1. Kids Night Out

, located at 59 Ponquogue Avenue in Hampton Bays, is hosting a fun night on Friday for children, ages 2 to 5.  The event, which runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., will feature a movie, Madagascar and lots of games.  The fee is $10. For more information, call 631-728-4800.

2. Pasta Party

The , located at 52 Ponquogue Avenue in Hampton Bays is hosting a pasta party on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. for children ages three and up.  At the event, children will learn how to make homemade pasta with Chef Ellen.

3. Running with the Wolves

The is holding a wolf workshop on Saturday at 2 p.m. Families can learn about wolves from the non-profit group, Running with the Wolves.  Reservations are required. The event is free for members and $5 for non-members. For more information, call (631) 653-4771.

4.  Hampton Idol

will hold it’s 5th annual Hampton Idol contest from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Southampton High School, located at 141 Narrow Lane in Southampton.  Students from Eastport South Manor, Westhampton, Hampton Bays will all be performing in the contest. 5. Spring Celebration

Families are invited to celebrate spring at the Castle at Westhampton, 59 Montauk Highway in Westhampton from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  At the event, children can decorate, paint and color eggs. The fee is $10 per child and half price for siblings. For more information, call (631) 204-7054.
