Homes at Hampton West Estates Development Could Be Sold
The Coast Guard says 16 of the 52 houses in the development are being rented.
The Coast Guard is evaluating a plan to sell off some of the homes it owns at the Hampton West Estates housing development, which sites near in Westhampton, because only 16 of the 52 units are being currently rented by Coast Guard personel, according to 27east.
The publication reports that the plan has some residents concerned that if the homes are sold, the development would become over-wrought with absentee landlords.
