Heartfelt Paddle Tribute To Vin Zorbo
Beloved by the community, many knew him as Uncle Vin.
Friends and loved ones took to the surf, the place he loved best, to pay tribute to a longtime friend who passed away recently.
A group paddle out at Jetty 4 was held recently for Vin Zorbo, an avid surfer who passed away on Feb. 8.
"May he rest in peace and may God bless him and his family," wrote Jim Hulme on his Facebook page. "Vin Zorbo was a wonderful, religious and generous man who earned the name Uncle Vin, a true and good friend.”
Visitation was held at Follet & Werner Funeral home Tuesday night, with a service Wednesday morning. Cards and donations to the charity of choice can be sent to Follet & Werner Funeral Home, located at 60 Mill Road, Westhampton Beach, NY, 11978.
