Hampton Theatre Company Releases 28th Season Schedule

The theatre company has scheduled four productions this season.

The , located in Quogue, has released its 28th season schedule, which runs through June 2013.

This season, the company says it has a line up of "four tremendously engaging and entertaining plays."

Good People

Good People, written by playwright David Lindsay-Abaire's is an unsentimental and sometimes funny, but ultimately touching piece about the insurmountable divide between past and present and between those who make it and those who don't. The show, which opens the season on Thursday, Oct. 25 will run for three weekends, through Nov. 11.

Other People's Money

In January, the Hampton Theatre Company will present Jerry Sterner's seriously funny play about Wall Street buccaneers and their victims, er, clients: Other People's Money, an all-time favorite of many who work on "the Street."

The Drawer Boy

March will bring to the stage Canadian playwright Michael Healey's fascinating and poignant play, The Drawer Boy, which is about a pair of aging farmers whose long-buried secrets are unearthed when a young actor pays them a visit.

How The Other Half Loves

The season wraps up in June with How The Other Half Loves, one of the most hilarious plays by the U.K.'s prolific Sir Alan Ayckbourn, adapted specially for the American stage, about an extra-marital dalliance that leads to a cascade of confusion.

The Hampton Theatre Company said that this season it is also, once again, offering special dinner theater packages in collaboration with restaurant in Westhampton.
