Family Service League Raises $300,000 at Annual Gala

The gala was held on July 14 on the Great Lawn in Westhampton Beach.

The non-profit announced this week that it raised more than $300,000 at it's annual gala, held on July 14 under a tent on the Great Lawn in Westhampton Beach. 

According to the League, over 450 guest attended the event, which honored I. Dolly Lenz, vice chairman of Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate and Fred W. Thiele Jr.

The Family Service League was founded in 1926 with a goal to help those in need through programs at 20 locations across Long Island. Among the programs offered are those that relate to counseling for children, alcohol and substance abuse, domestic violence, child abuse and development disabilities.
