In an effort to garner funds to bring the back to Hampton Bays for the second year in a row during Columbus Day Weekend, the is holding a on Wednesday evening.
The fundraiser is slated to take place at Oaklands from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will feature hors d'oeuvres, buffet, Chinese auction and open bar at a cost of $60 per person.
The fundraiser, according to the Chamber of Commerce, will help defray the costs of the fest, and will take place on October 6 and 7. The fest includes two days of activities, including a , vendors, music and attractions for children. There are also talks of fireworks.
Last year, the fest generated funds to provide scholarship funds to students and also funding for Maureen's Haven, which provides shelter for the homeless in the winter. The chamber hopes to do the same this year.
Tickets to the fundraiser can be purchased at several locations, including , , and the office on Main Street.
