On Wednesday afternoon, volunteers from Bideawee were at Hampton Coffee in Weshampton Beach promoting the organizations Love on a Leash Walk, which will be held on Saturday.
Holding adoptable dogs in their hands, the volunteers said the walk will help raise money for the non- profit and the pets they care for.
All are invited to bring their pets to the mile-long walk, which starts at the village green at 8:00 a.m with registration getting underway at 7:00 a.m.
The cost to participate is $20 and includes a shirt and a dog toy.
Bideawee will also have pets available for adoption at the event, which can be adopted for between $150 and $225.
