Don't Miss it: Civic to Talk Hampton Bays Water District

The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.

The Hampton Bays Civic Association is poised to hold a meet and greet with Hampton Bays Water District Superintendent Robert King Monday night at 6:30 p.m.

During the meeting, which will be held at the Southampton Community Center, 25 Ponquogue Avenue, King will answer questions and talk about his first year as superintendent of the water district.

Also during the meeting, King, who previously served as a leader of the water district maintenance crew, will discuss his future plans for the district, the history of the district, as well as compare bottled water to Hampton Bays drinking water for taste, legality and cost.

"Find out for yourself what it is that makes water coming out of your faucet as good as it is and discover the man you trust your family's water welfare to," the civic said.
