1. It's a HAIRY Musical! Kids Musical! Online sign-ups begin

Children ages 7 through 10 are invited to sign-up this week for an acting workshop that will culminate with a performance at the Vail-Leavitt Music Hall. The cost for the session, which takes place in Hampton Bays, is $100.

2. Writer's Group

If you are interested in writing and would like some feedback on your work, join the Writer's Group at the Westhampton Free Library. The group meets on Tuesday at 6 p.m. Pre-registration is required.

3. The Amazing Jimmy Van

On Wednesday, the Amazing Jimmy Van will perform a magic show for children at The Ed & Phyllis Davis Wellness Institute, 38b E Montauk Hwy, Hampton Bays at 4 p.m. The cost is $5 per child.

On Thursday at 4 p.m., the Westhampton Free Library gets ready for Hanukkah with a program filled with classic stories, delicious homemade latkes and fun with dreidles. Pre-registration is required for this free program.

5. Treasured Stories by Eric Carle

On Friday, the Westhampton Performing Arts Center presents a story collection for children during two sessions, 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The cost is $10 per person.
