Coming Up this Week: Civic Meeting, Hampton Idol Auditions and Shelter Benefit

1. Duct Tape Bracelet

On Monday at 6:30 p.m. head over to the Westhampton Free Library to use multi-colored duct tape to make "petals" that are layered together to make a funky bangle bracelet.

2. Hampton Bays Civic Association

The Hampton Bays Civic Association is holding a meeting to discuss an idea to incorporate the village of Hampton Bays. The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. at the Hampton Bays Senior Center. Find out more here.

3. Cooking with Craig in the New Year

On Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., the Hampton Bays Library is holding a cooking demonstration with Craig and the Block Island Seafood Co. He will demonstrate the B.I.S.Co. bouillabaisse and his take on classic, stick-to-your-ribs fish cakes. The cost is $5.

4. Birthday Celebration to Benefit for Southampton Animal Shelter

E Day Spa & Salon is holding a celebration benefit for the Southampton Animal Shelter on Thursday at 10 a.m. All funds raised go to the Southampton Animal Shelter.

5. Hampton Idol Auditions

The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau is holding open auditions for its 7th annual Hampton Idol contest on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Hampton Bays Center. Find out more information here.
