Cancellations and Closures Due To Snow Storm

With a Winter Storm Warning In Effect For Westhampton-Hampton Bays,activities planned for Wednesday and Thursday are already being cancelled/postponed.

Hampton Bays Booster Club meeting cancelled for Wednesday night. Will be rescheduled.

• A public hearing for the regional sustainability plan for Long Island, scheduled for Wednesday night at town hall has been postponed to Monday, March 11 from 7:00 – 9:00.

• The Hampton Bays School district announced that the Grade 8 Washington DC field trip, scheduled for Thursday-Saturday, is postponed and will be held this Sunday, March 10 through Tuesday evening.

• A reception for the Hampton Bays Good Ground Artists Group at the Patchogue Art Museum has been rescheduled for March 13. Find out more here. 

The reception was originally scheduled for March 6, but has been postponed due to the predicted storm in the winter weather advisory.

• In case you are flying, Southwest has canceled flights out of MacArthur. Find out more here.

• The "Organic Foods: Are They Better For You?" event at the Quogue Wildlife Refuge, scheduled for March 8 will be postponed until April.
