Cancellations and Closures Due To Snow Storm

With a blizzard warning issued for the South Fork, activities planned for this weekend are already being cancelled.

Here is the running list of cancellations/closures:

• Maureen's Haven is rescheduling its Saturday Polar Plunge in Southold at the Wharf House. A tentative make-up date is set for March 16.
• HUGS of Westhampton is postponing their Middle School Teen Institute planned for this weekend, Feb 8-10th. A new date is in the works.
• The Hampton Jitney has adjusted its weekend schedule. See here for more information.
• Westhampton Beach Schools have cancelled all afternoon and evening activities on Friday.
• Hampton Bays Schools have announced that all campuses will close at 6 p.m. on Friday. Any activity scheduled after that time will be postponed. Campuses will also be closed on Saturday. No decisions have been made regarding Sunday activities. Find out more here.
• East Quogue Elementary School has cancelled all Friday evening activities, including a relay for Life Dance that was scheduled for 6 p.m.
• The Quogue Library has announced that it will be closing at 2 p.m. on Friday and two events scheduled for the weekend are being postponed. The events are as follows: Making Marmalade with Laura O'Brien of Josephine's Feast, Originally scheduled for Saturday and the Sweetest Valentine with Matt and Allison Robicelli of Robicelli's Cupcakes, originally scheduled for Sunday.
• Southampton Town Hall has announced it will close at 3 p.m. on Friday.
• Bideawee has rescheduled its Love Your Pet Art Expo, which was scheduled for Friday and Saturday. Find the new dates here.
• The Westhampton Free Library is closing at 2 p.m. on Friday and will be closed all day Saturday.
• The Dance Centre of the Hamptons will be closed on Friday and Saturday.
• Hampton Art Space has rescheduled Friday night's art club. Its scratch board / Love Bug program has been moved to next Friday.
• Studio East Inc. has cancelled all Friday evening classes.
• The Hampton Bays Library has announced that it will close at 3 p.m. on Friday and remain closed through Saturday.
• The Quogue Wildlife Refuge has cancelled Friday night's screening of The City Dark documentary.
