There are slight traffic delays on Montauk Highway in the Shinnecock Hills area Wednesday as brush along the roadway is cut back.
The work is being conducted by the New York State Department of Transportation. Travelers may be caught in traffic due to a single lane closure. Flagmen are letting vehicles pass in one direction at a time.
Work is expected to be completed before the evening commute.
