Bideawee Pet of the Week: Tony

Bideawee has some loving pets available for adoption.

This week  is looking to find a home for Tony, a Domestic Shorthair tabby cat, who just turned a year old in June.

According to Deanna Murphy, the client care coordinator for Bideawee, Tony came to Bideawee after a Good Samaritan found him, took him in for care, and then called Bideawee to find him a good home.

"Tony is shy at first and needs some time to become comfortable in new places with new people, but the staff and volunteers at Bideawee have been working with him daily to socialize him and introduce him to new surroundings and faces," said Murphy.

Murphy says Tony is seeking a patient family with older children, who are willing to continue coaxing him out of his shell, and will give him all of the love and patience he deserves.

The adoption fee for Tony is $150. All of Bideawee’s pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Bideawee’s pets receive socialization, exercise, behavioral training and other daily activities that let the staff get to know each animal's special personality to make the best match.
