Bideawee Pet of the Week: Louise Was Abandoned By Her Owner

Bideawee of Westhampton has a number of pets available for adoption.

This week, Bideawee of Westhampton is looking to find a home for Louise, a sweet, five-year-old Rottweiler and Chinese Shar-pei mix.

According to Deanna Murphy, the client care coordinator for Bideawee, Louise was rescued from a local municipal shelter, where she had been abandoned by her owner.

"Louise is a very intelligent and faster learner," Murphy said. "She already knows many commands such as 'sit,' 'down,' 'go to your bed,' and is continuing to master walking properly on a leash."

Murphy says Louise would do well with an owner that will continue to challenge her through obedience training. She also suffers from a skin allergy, but is on a special diet that has helped keep her skin and coat in good condition.

The adoption fee for Louise is $150. All of Bideawee’s pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Bideawee’s pets receive socialization, exercise, behavioral training and other daily activities that let the staff get to know each animal's special personality to make the best match.
