Bideawee Pet of the Week: Layla Was Abandoned With Her Kittens

Bideawee has some loving pets available for adoption.

This week, of Westhampton is looking to find a home for Layla, a two-year-old old Domestic Shorthair cat, who has a shiny and soft all-black coat and piercing yellow eyes.

According to Deanna Murphy, the client care coordinator for Bideawee, Layla was abandoned on Bideawee’s property, where she was found by staff in a carrier with her four kittens.

"Thankfully, Bideawee was able to take them in and provide them with the care and nourishment they needed," Murphy said.

Murphy said Layla "loves nothing more than to snuggle up with the staff and volunteers, but is also still quite spunky and active."

Murphy said all of Layla’s kittens have been adopted, but she is still waiting for her forever home.
