Bideawee Pet of the Week: Cuma Was Bullied In Former Home

Bideawee of Westhampton has a number of pets available for adoption.

This week Bideawee of Westhampton is looking to find a home for Cuma is a sweet 5-year-old Domestic Shorthair tabby cat.

According to Deanna Murphy, the client care coordinator for Bideawee, Cuma's former owner brought her to Bideawee because the other cats in the home were not always kind to her.

"She can be very affectionate and full of personality, but she can be reserved when she desires her own space," Murphy said. "Cuma is the official greeter of our smaller cattery, waiting for her future family to open the door next."

Murphy says Cuma is seeking a patient home that is willing to let her adjust and bond at her own pace.  Due to her sometimes over-excitable nature, she would do best in an adult home.

The adoption fee for Cuma is $150. All of Bideawee’s pets are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. Bideawee’s pets receive socialization, exercise, behavioral training and other daily activities that let the staff get to know each animal's special personality to make the best match.
