Bideawee Pet of the Week: Chaz

Bideawee has some loving pets available for adoption.

This week is looking to find a home for Chaz, a sweet, 5-year-old, grey and white Domestic shorthair cat.

According to Deanna Murphy, the client care coordinator for Bideawee, Chaz arrived at Bideawee when his owner was no longer able to care for him.

"Chaz has a beautiful personality and will entertain a lucky family with his charm," said Murphy. "If you visit him at the Adoption Center at Bideawee, you will likely see him scratching at the cattery window for attention and waving you in."

Murphy says it took Chaz a little while to settle in, as he was very nervous upon arriving, but he got comfortable quickly and has made himself to home.

"Chaz is looking for a patient home, with children over 12, that are willing to let him adjust to his new home," she said. "However, once he settles in, as we know, he’s one of the sweetest cats you’ll meet. At 17 pounds, he’s a big boy with a big heart."

The adoption fee for Chaz is $150. All of Bideawee’s pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Bideawee’s pets receive socialization, exercise, behavioral training and other daily activities that let the staff get to know each animal's special personality to make the best match.

To adopt Chaz or any other animal, call the Adoption Center at 631-325-0200 or visit them at 118 Old Country Road, Westhampton.

P. Killian, Thanks for asking. We just reached out to State police. They are doing seatbelt checks.
