Bideawee Pet of the Week: Bebe

Bideawee has some loving pets available for adoption.

This week is looking to find a home for Bebe, a sweet, four-year-old, gray and white, Domestic Shorthair cat.

According to Deanna Murphy, the client care coordinator for Bideawee, Bebe arrived at Bideawee when a Good Samaritan found her and her littermates in their yard and took them in for shelter.

"After giving Bebe and her siblings the care they needed, they were placed up for adoption at Bideawee and one by one, each kitten found a home, except for Bebe," said Murphy.

Murphy said Bebe was often overlooked because of her shy and nervous personality, however, through constant socialization, she has slowly come out of her shell.

Murphy said Bebe is seeking a patient home that is willing to earn her trust and let her adjust at her own pace.

"Once she knows you are gentle and kind, she will crave your attention and being a loving, loyal companion," she said.

The adoption fee for Bebe is $150.

All of Bideawee’s pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Bideawee’s pets receive socialization, exercise, behavioral training and other daily activities that let the staff get to know each animal's special personality to make the best match.

To adopt Bebe or any other animal, call the Adoption Center at 631-325-0200 or visit them at 118 Old Country Road, Westhampton.
