Adopt Puppies at the Southampton Animal Shelter

The Southampton Animal Shelter has some loving animals for adoption.

This week, the is looking to find a home for several puppies rescued from a kill shelter in Georgia.

Donald Bambrick, the Southampton Animal Shelter supervisor, said "The Southampton Animal Shelter recently received 17 puppies from 4 to 12 weeks old sent up from Georgia. Some are still available but they won't be around for long."

Bambrick urges those who are looking to adopt a puppy to "come to the shelter and see if one of our puppies can be your next family member."

If a puppy is not the type of pet you are looking for, there are plenty of other animals that need love and care.

All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered, according to Bambrick.
