Adopt Merelda, a Four-Year-Old Calico

This week Bideawee of Westhampton is looking to find a home for Merelda, a sweet four-year-old calico.

According to Deanna Murphy, client care coordinator for Bideawee, Merelda arrived at Bideawee after being abandoned at a local veterinarian

"She was in desperate need of surgery, as she was suffering from a condition called pyometra, which is a form of infection in the uterus," said Murphy. "Fortunately for her, the veterinary hospital that she was left with, performed a spay operation, treating the condition."

Now, Murphy says Merelda is doing great and she just needs someone to adopt her.

The adoption fee for Merelda is $150. All of Bideawee’s pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.  Bideawee’s pets receive socialization, exercise, behavioral training and other daily activities that let the staff get to know each animal's special personality, to make the best match.
