Southampton Animal Shelter has some loving animals for adoption

This week, the  is not only looking to find a home for three dogs, which the shelter rescued from the Humane Society of Northwest Georgia, but is pleased to announce that some special animals have found homes.

Donald Bambrick, animal shelter supervisor, said that Mandy and Sandy, two senior pets that were featured as Pets of the Week have been adopted.

"They went home together," said Bambrick.

Brambrick also said, that the shelter found homes for 40 cats in December It is a feat, that Bambrick says, "we are all very proud of."

Bambrick hopes to start the New Year off right and find homes for the three Georga dogs,  Marshal, Cupcake and Sybil.

"They would all like to start the New Year in a new home," said Bambrick.

If Marshal, Cupcake or Sybil are not the type of pets you are looking for, there are plenty of other animals that need love and care, including many cats.

All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered, according to Bambrick.

Adoption fees range from between $40 - $60 for a cat and $60 and $125 for a dog.
