10 Must See Holiday Performances

Get in the holiday mood with these holiday shows.

Before it's too late, purchase tickets to a holiday show this season. There are plenty to choose from.

1. Vienna Boys Choir 

Get in the holiday spirit by seeing the Vienna Boys Choir at the on December 11. The internationally-celebrated choir will enlighten holiday spirits. Tickets range from $55 to $70. For more information, call (631) 288-1500.

2. The Nutcracker Southampton High School

The Nutcracker will be performed by the Conservatory of Ballet and Danse Arts at Southampton High School on Narrow Lance on December 3 and 4 at 7:00 p.m. and December 5 at 2:00 p.m.   Reserved seating tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children. General admission tickets are $12.  Tickets for children under 10 and seniors are $8.  Tickets are available by calling (631) 537-1684.

3. Scrooge 

Enjoy the holiday favorite,'Scrooge' on the big screen at the Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor on December 9 for $5.  For more information, call (631) 725-9500.

4. The Nutcracker at the Westhampton Performing Arts Center

If you can't make the Nutcracker performance at Southampton High School, don't worry because local ballerinas will perform The Nutcracker on December 17 at 7:00 p.m. at the .  Take a journey with the Sugarplum Fairy and the Nutcracker Prince at this 60-minute performance. 5. The Nutcracker in Film

A cinematic performance of The Nutcracker can be seen on Saturday, December 18  from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Parrish Art Museum, 25 Jobs Lane in Southampton.  Children 12 and under are free.  Tickets for Parrish members is $12 and $15 for non-members. 6. Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular

For many, a holiday tradition is seeing the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular.  The Town of Southampton's Senior Services is providing bus service to the show on Tuesday, December 14 at 11:00 a.m. Tickets are $125 and pre-registration is required.  Call (631) 728-1235 for more information.

7. Annual Winter Concert at Hampton Bays Elementary School

Hampton Bays elementary students will perform at their school's annual winter concert in the new gym from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on December 9.

8. Annual Winter Concert at Hampton Bays high School

Hampton Bays high school students will perform at their annual winter concert on December 20 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 

9. Cherish the Ladies — A Celtic Christmas

Cherish the Ladies — A Celtic Christmas is being put on at Guild Hall in East Hampton on Thursday, December 16 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $25 for non-members and $23 for members.  For more information, call (631) 324-2722.

10. Holiday Concert at the Vail-Leavitt Music Hall

For some great holiday music, hop over to the North Fork to the Vail-Leavitt Music Hall in Riverhead for a winter holiday concert. The concert will be held on December 11 at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. It will feature vocal and musical performances. For more information, call (631) 727-6782.
